We are a non-canon AU of the FATE franchise, which includes Fate/Grand Order, Fate/Stay Night, and Fate/Zero among many, many others. While this forum is recommended for intermediate to advanced roleplayers who already have a knowledge of this franchise you can take a crash course via either the lore board or the wiki. We attempt to include enough information within the rules and mechanics that anyone can play, but if you've never seen anything from the Franchise then I'd recommend watching Fate/Zero or Fate/Unlimited Blade Works. This guide is intended for new members to the forum and it will cover everything you need to know to get started. (AR) means Advanced Rules, and is content that you can probably get away without reading when making your first character if you're really excited and just want to get started. We offer chances to revise your characters later, so don't be afraid of jumping right in! In order to get started you'll want to read the following threads, and probably in the order listed below.
Optional Reading: [attr="class","subheaderbgfull"] [attr="class","subheader"]//Your First Character Once you've read through everything, you'll want to head over to the Create A Character Board and post up your application! The stylized template is auto-generated when you fill out the form on that board. It's recommended to type up your application in Microsoft Word or Google Docs and copy-paste sections into the template if you want to get the pretty formatting. If you're having trouble with any of the coding or formatting, please reach out to staff on discord, or you can just do things like listing spell names only in place of the spellbook code. Once your character profile is completed, please click the arrow on the top right of the post and hit "Report Post." In the reason field please put "grading." This will alert the staff that your profile needs grading and we will get to it as soon as we can. We highly recommend joining Discord so you can communicate with the mod team faster and meet the community! Now would be a great time to read the Advanced Rules if you skipped them earlier as well! |
