[attr="class","paracontentfull"]Tall, dark, and handsome. Well, not handsome. Beautiful. They say that the ones you really shouldn’t go after are often the ones you find the most appealing right? Sure she may not be to everyone’s taste, but it’s hard to argue that she doesn’t have a lot of good traits. Her overall build is best described as slender, fit, and elegant. There isn’t an ounce of fat on her body that doesn’t need to be there. Well, there’s a few places you can find some fat, but most people don’t seem to object to finding it there. Aside from her overall impression, there are several details worth note. Her skin is a warm caramel that would make most have a hard time calling her “black” but definitely makes her not Caucasian. Her yellow eyes seem to glow with an unnatural light that hints at the supernatural truth of her identity. The most controversial part of her appearance is likely her just above waist-length dark purple hair. It’s often pulled into a long ponytail. As far as her outfits go, her wardrobe is unfortunately quite limited. Most of the time she’s only given a single option. A plain black bodysuit is basically all that’s in her wardrobe aside from a few identical pairs of white flats, some tan cotton scarves, and some undergarments. The bodysuit features a rather suggestive halter top, but even if worn with nothing else it’s still not indecent. Given that it’s made of the same fabrics as things like yoga pants, it simply doesn’t leave a whole lot to the imagination. She typically wears one of her scarves around her waist as a belt, and another smaller one around her neck to hide the collar that can be used to restrain her. Though it shares some similarities with her true form, what we have described above is her preferred human form. Her demonic form has a few mundane differences, as well as a few supernatural ones. Her natural hair color in her true form is aqua, and her hair actually grows a bit longer, reaching down just below her waist. Though the length doesn't change much, it does increase in volume quite a bit. Another noteworthy mundane change is that of her eye color which shifts to a fiercely growing bright purple. The final mundane change is that of her outfit. Though this change can be suppressed if she desires, this outfit can only be accessed by her true form. Of more note than those mundane changes are the ones that truly signify she is not human. During polite conversation the first change you may notice is the pair of horns that protrudes from the right side of her skull. To be clear, there are no horns on the left side. We saved the best for last though. Her right arm (which is her dominant one), has become translucent. Where flesh and blood once were is instead no more than a phantasm of her arm that seems to glow softly unless presence concealment is active. It can still be wounded like a normal arm, and this is a purely aesthetic change.

Mivare is no such thing. She is intelligent, sophisticated, and rather quite charming. She is the type of villain that will invite you into her home, offer you a cup of tea, have a mundane chat about how the economy is doing, and then you realize you've died. If you ignore the part where you die then she's really a lovely person. Except... umm.... she isn't a person. Right. So let's try focusing on if she likes you? Maybe she finds you amusing or something? She is capable of not actively killing people, even if that does give her a great deal of pleasure. If you somehow wind up on her good side then you're in for a treat. Mivare is a witty conversationalist whose stories over the ages can enrapture most anyone in idle chatter with her. She is warm and loving naturally. Her love just has the nasty side effect of death fairly often, but we're ignoring that part for now right? At her core though the truth is that Mivare is a demon. She is vicious, cold, and unfeeling in most things despite what her outward representation may show. She has no issue with taking life, betraying those close to her, or committing any heinous acts you can think of. She is above nothing. Acts of evil as as natural to her as breathing and anyone who thinks otherwise has not been unfortunate enough to learn better.

[attr="class","paracontentfull"]There are some tales that we are better off not knowing the full truth of. The story of the rise and fall of Mivare is one such tale. Know this, ye who dare to read on, that you may come to regret reading further if you hold Mivare in any kind of esteem. Mivare was not born. Mivare was made. She was the work of no lab nor sorcery, but a product of Alaya itself. For as long as there has been man there too have been those who keep the balance amongst men. In the modern era we know a well established mechanism for this purpose, the Counter Guardians. That method is what Alaya has come to rely on in her endless quest for balance, but it was not always so. Thousands of years before the advent of the first Counter Guardian a much simpler system was in place. An eternal war betwixt light and dark, good and evil, holy and unholy, but most importantly, Heaven and Hell. The Holy Church only came into being on the tail end of this war that has raged for millennia. The forces of darkness tempted men to commit evil, and the forces of light led them to their salvation. This was simply the way of the world, the will of Alaya. Many religions have touched on the aspects of this eternal war in some fashion. Buddhists identified the temptations of darkness as worldly desires and sought to cast them aside. Abrahamic religions saw it as a literal struggle between devils and angels. Ancient civilizations recorded the crimes and triumphs of both sides through their pantheon of supernatural gods, titans, fae, and more. Mivare is a crystallization of the concept of evil. She may be nice to a person if she feels like it, but it always to serve her own ends. Even those she may grow close to she does so simply because she takes pleasure in their company. All that she does is to serve herself. She has existed since before man could write tales of her, and her role has always been the same. She emerged and caused havoc amongst the living for naught but her own amusement. No matter how far back you go through time, her influence can be seen. Whether it was Circe’s trickery or Helen of Troy’s presence causing a war, the truth was that many of these were games she played over the centuries to toy with humanity. Her origins and deeds are ultimately unimportant beyond this general picture. What matters most is that you understand what kind of demon Mivare truly is. As she has watched the rise and fall of human civilizations, her only thoughts have been for herself and her amusement. Knowing that, let us turn our attention to how Mivare found herself in the present day. Demons, you see, do not die quite as easily as mortals. They do not age in a meaningful way and will persist so long as their energy is maintained. As humanity evolved, that point became harder to accomplish. The Age of Gods was a terrifying time to be a demon. Humans had harnessed the power of True Magic and turned its power against those that their rulers saw fit. Demons were no exception. Mivare had made the mistake of thinking that humans were still as weak as they had once been. Her true nature was discovered through the clairvoyance of Gilgamesh, and her essence was imprisoned within an amethyst ring through his magic. As time passed this ring came to possess several hosts, which in turn caused some of the deeds above, but she did not manifest a true form again. That ring that had been her first prison was also her hope at salvation. She had long since lost count of the centuries that she had been imprisoned. There had been decades here or there where she had been free to possess a host, but even those seemed to be distant memories. But then it had happened. ”You, seven heavens clad in three words of power, arrive from the ring of deterrence, O keeper of the balance ―――! “ With those words her essence had been forcibly pulled from the ring and materialized into her preferred human form. She had been summoned by Michael. Before she could even come to fully understand where she was, she felt a collar slapped around her neck. She looked down at the collar, up at Michael, down at the collar again, and calmly asked him, ”What’s this about then?” Michael went on to explain to her current situation to her. She was the property of the church. His word was law. She would jump when he said jump, and kill when he said kill. If she did not, then he would inflict the Wrath of God upon her. She tried to defy him at first, but it seemed that no matter how she tried, even if in an astral form, the Wrath brought her back down. The agony was unbearable, as if she was ripped asunder atom by atom. She could not act against it, and attempts to remove it were met with the same torture. She, a demon, was a prisoner of The Church.

[attr="class","paracontentfull"]Mivare doesn't fight in the typical sense if she can avoid it. She was summoned as an assassin, and that means that she does everything she can to avoid a fight lasting beyond one or two blows. If at all possible she will actively approach a target with any traces of her mana suppressed, activate her Noble Phantasm before they realize she's a servant, and call that a victory. If that approach isn't possible for whatever reason, Mivare is perfectly capable as a normal assassin. Thanks to Presence Concealment, Acting/Disguise, and Information Erasure, she can successfully infiltrate basically anywhere she wants to. If you add in her Noble Phantasm's abilities then there is basically nowhere she cannot go... unless of course the area is protected by some kind of Bounded Field. Damn barriers are a huge pain in the ass. All that said though, Mivare is astoundingly quick on her feet for such a relatively weak Servant. She can infiltrate a location and eliminate a target before most people have any clue what happened. In the event of a direct confrontation, Mivare's preferred strategy is to run away. Between her natural speed, Disengage, Information Erasure, and Presence Concealment there is virtually no one on the planet that can stop her if she wants to run away. They do exist though, and they are a pain in the ass. Against most people Mivare can vanish in the blink of an eye and they won't even remember that she was there. Those who can stop her from fleeing though... against them her best hope is to land a crippling blow on her first attack. If she can't manage that then she's almost certainly going to lose a straight-up fight.
[attr="class","paracontentfull"]Aufero Regno Dei et in Omnibus. To Steal the Kingdom of God and Everything in it. That is the name of the ability owned by the fallen patron saint of thieves. The power that has earned such a lofty name is one to be feared. This power is the ability to steal anything and everything, or at least that is how it would appear to those who do not know how this power works. This is not merely the sleight of hand of a pickpocket but rather the ability to steal entire concepts or phenomenon. There are many parts of this ability to understand. First and foremost, though it is not sleight of hand, all instances of theft require contact with the target if the target has physical form. If the target has a magical form, then mana to mana contact is required. Both conditions of “contact” can be achieved with the aid of anything that can be treated as “an extension of Mivare’s body or mana” respectively. Examples include an object held by her extending her condition of physical contact or a spell that is tethered to her connecting her to her opponents mana. In both cases, a single object can serve as a conduit for this condition. It cannot traverse one object and then another. To be clear, a clash of two swords would not count, but Mivare stabbing someone with a sword would. There are a number of things that Mivare can steal. Each type of theft is detailed by an individual property. However, each property may have some variations to it, usually detailed by minor, lesser and greater versions. One question you might have is “Where does everything that Mivare steals go?” It goes to her pocket dimension. This is quite literally what it says on the surface. It is a dimension that can be accessed only by her will. Anything she has stolen can be placed into the pocket dimension free of further cost, but there are limitations on this ability. Only things that are stolen can be placed within. Anything she actually owns or obtained legitimately cannot be placed within. Additionally, anything that has been stored within the pocket dimension can be retrieved for free only under the condition that it was the last thing stolen, or under the condition that Mivare has time to go rummaging around for it. Instantly retrieving anything other than the last thing put into the Pocket Dimension requires her to pay an E-rank cost. The contents of her Pocket Dimension must be tracked in her character progress sheet. [attr="class","subheaderbgfull"] [attr="class","subheader"]//Property 1: Identity Theft [C-Rank: Activated] This is the ability to completely steal someone’s identity. This is Mivare’s signature ability for infiltration. Depending on the mana expenditure and conditions met, Mivare can steal part of all of someone’s identity. This property can be broken into three tiers which are detailed below. Across all types of theft, the cost is paid when the theft happens. Once an identity is stolen she can switch between forms no more than once per post. Across all forms her mana spent is maintained. If switching to a new form or her original form would cause her to have zero or less mana then it causes her to pass out immediately. Identities she has stolen are stored within her pocket dimension, and the cost to switch identities is only the cost to retrieve them from her pocket dimension as detailed above. Minor - E-Rank. This is the theft of physical details only. This is appearance and voice. Nothing more. This is considered Rank E for mana cost, but requires only sight of the target to copy appearance and hearing a single word uttered by them to copy the voice. Lesser - C-Rank. This is the theft of all the details needed to impersonate a normal human. This includes the ability to transform into a perfect physical replica of the person, but also allows for access to all of their knowledge. This is considered Rank C for mana cost and requires physical contact with the flesh of the target. Major - A Rank. This is the theft of absolutely everything. This is considered Rank A for mana cost and requires consumption of the blood of the target. If Major Identity Theft can be activated then Mivare is able to transform herself into a perfect replica of the target including their appearance, knowledge, skills, stats, and non-item Noble Phantasms, but not Item-Type Noble Phantasms or Mystic Codes. Literally everything is copied. It should be noted that this copy is always as they were when their identity was stolen, with the exception being wounds and spent mana reflecting Mivare’s current condition rather than that of the target. [attr="class","subheaderbgfull"] [attr="class","subheader"]//Property 2: Theft of Physical Items [C-Rank- Activated] When you think of a thief, you think of them stealing physical things. At the minor level, you’ll probably be able to predict what Mivare can do. This is the pinnacle of the ability to steal physical things that most people would assume to be the work of magecraft from how masterful her thievery is. Beyond the minor level, it rapidly becomes plain to see where her reputation as the demon thief comes from. Minor - Obtained at E-Rank. Mivare can casually steal any normally attainable/holdable item with no effort whatsoever. If she is able to make contact with that item or whomever currently has possession of that object then it can be stolen for no cost. If that item is not currently within someone’s hand, being worn, or protected by magic then it can be stolen from up to 100 meters away so long as Mivare has knowledge of it existing. An edge case to make clear is that if someone has a sheathed weapon or a gadget in their pocket, then this does not count at being worn. That restriction means that she cannot steal the clothes off your back, but anything else is fair game. This can be done at a Rank E cost, and cannot steal a Noble Phantasm. It can, however, steal a mystic code. Lesser - Obtained at C-Rank. Doors. Specific does not mean less useful. A door stolen by Mivare will always open back to where it was stolen from. If Mivare steals a door from the Louvre and opens it in Rome, she (or anyone else who walks through it) will find themselves at the Louvre. It should be noted that stolen doors are one way trips, and unless mana is expended to steal the door again within that same post, Gaia will detect the abnormality of the door and snuff it out of existence by the start of Mivare’s next post. This has Rank C cost. Major - Obtained at A Rank. The pinnacle of skill allows Mivare to surpass what should normally be possible. At this level Mivare can deal wounds that bypass everything but magical defensive effects whose rank exceeds Mivare’s Noble Phantasm stat. These wounds are always of a specific type though. This is the theft of internal anatomy with no trace. This ability allows Mivare to steal bones, organs, tendons, or anything else she might find within someone. The condition for activation of this ability is that her hands must physically make contact with the target, their clothing, or any armor-type defenses. She is also limited to stealing something from the area she touches. If she touches you on the head, then yes, she can steal your skull. However, if she touches you on the hand, all she could steal would be the bones in your hand. The cost varies on the severity of what she steals. Fatty tissue, nerve endings, or bodily fluids that have no immediate damage associated with them have only a Rank E cost and are considered a minor wound. Skin, muscles, and small bones (fingers, teeth, toes, etc) have a rank C cost and are considered a moderate wound. Large bones (ribcage, skull, femur, etc) and organs have a Rank A cost and are considered major to lethal wounds. Only a single thing can be stolen at a time. [attr="class","subheaderbgfull"] [attr="class","subheader"]//Property 3: Theft of Lies [E-Rank Passive] This Rank E property is a very simple one. Mivare is able to steal the very concept of her lies. By paying the mana cost, her words themselves rob those who hear them of the ability to think Mivare could be lying. This can only be used on spoken words heard through a sensory organ. It has no effect on recordings, sign language, written communication, or any form of digital communication. It should also be noted that while it does make her believable, it does not mean a character cannot encounter conflicting accounts. If they are watching her steal something on a recording, but then hear her deny that it was her, they will both believe that she is telling the truth, but be able to contradict that with evidence. In cases where there is one piece of evidence against her word, this should generally play out as someone feeling like she did it, but not feeling like they have a solid case to convict her. If, however, they have a bunch of evidence or eyewitnesses, then not even this property can help her escape convictions. In those cases, they might simply believe she has amnesia or multiple personalities. [attr="class","subheaderbgfull"] [attr="class","subheader"]//Property 4: Misdirection [F-Rank Passive (Not Yet Attained)] At rank D, this property is one that adds to Mivare’s utility. Misdirection is an add-on property that can be used in conjunction with her other theft-based properties. Misdirection causes anyone who witnessed the theft happen to not be aware something was stolen in the first place. Misdirection is a temporary effect. If the target that an item was stolen from attempts to use said item, they will notice it has been stolen once they first attempt to use it, but only after committing to that action. For example, if a sword is stolen from someone’s hand with the aid of Misdirection, that person will have to try to swing that sword once before they realize it is missing. Misdirection lasts up to four posts and cannot be refreshed. If the effect wears off over time, the victim may immediately notice that the stolen item is gone, but will not know Mivare is the culprit automatically.
Mivare is currently incapable of Magecraft.

[attr="class","paracontentfull"]Name: Binding Collar Rank: A Appearance: A simple black leather choker. In the front-center of the choker is a silver cross with a diamond embedded in the intersection. Effect: This Mystic Code is one given for "free" to Mivare upon creation. It is an item that, upon the desire of her master, can be used to make Mivare experience complete and unimaginable pain. It is ranked A purely because it requires at least Rank A levels of damage to destroy and "free" Mivare from it. This item is capable of reverting to an astral form along with Mivare and cannot be removed by any means other than its destruction.
