The Holy Church has a few different ranks that are important, but their assignments are arguably more important. The Church follows the traditional ranking structure of the Roman Catholic Church as they are formally a part of that organization. That means that all the typical ranks such as Bishop and Priest exist in their normal order. The various factions within the Holy Church include:
- Assembly of the Eigth Sacrament - Those who stray from the path of God in order to enforce his dominion. The Assembly of the Eight Sacrament fears not committing heretical acts to accomplish their goals. They are chargers with the research, recovery, and oversight of Holy Relics. Most notably, this faction is responsible foe overseeing the Holy Grail War. As one might imagine, that responsibility has left many in the Church rather upset with this faction given the current state of the world.
- Burial Agency - An organizaton consisting mostly of lone wolves, they are charger with a singular purpose. They must kill demons and eliminate anything that would stand in the way of the church. Many within the church consider them to be heretics. An apt comparison would be Jason Todd, the Red Hood, who believes that the best answer to crime is to put a bullet into every criminal.
- Chivalric Orders - These are full of the Knights that are often full of the rank and file of the Holy Church's millitary power. Their normal members are often normal humans augmented by the sanctity of their equipment or the miracles of their leaders. In the wake of the Infinite Grail War, many more have joined their ranks. What was once a faction that appeared to be on the brink of fading out of existence is now far and away the most plentiful and powerful force against the forces of evil.
